Editorial policy
Guides on dontsplash.com are checked against a named source. Updated 2026-10-25. Corrections: [email protected].
Checked 2026-10-25. Facts below cite the sources at the end of this page.
What counts as a source
Primary: the Roblox experience page, the games API, the votes API, the game-pass product-info endpoint, and the badges API. A negative result (empty badges, no Steam app, no speedrun game) is still a result, and the page says so.
Video: a public YouTube run with channel, upload date, and a timestamp when we describe a frame. We embed with a click, on youtube-nocookie.com. We do not re-upload the video.
Field notes from other wikis are allowed for controls and stage hazards only when a video agrees, and never for prices, codes, creator name, or visit counts.
What we will not write
No invented lore, no hearing radius, no badge names, no redeem steps copied from another game, and no “world record.” A pass whose description is empty stays “contents unverified.” Player counts always carry the snapshot time. The same updated date is the article modified time and the sitemap lastmod.
The operator does not take payment for a pass recommendation. There is no affiliate link to Robux. If that ever changes, this policy and the privacy page will say so before the link goes live.
Corrections
Email the page URL and the source. A confirmed error is fixed on the page and the updated date moves. We do not quietly delete the mistake without changing the date.
Research note. The DontSplash.com editorial desk checks public API facts and attributes footage-based observations. Missing values stay unverified. Game updates, snapshot capture times and article revision dates are separate fields.
