The DONT SPLASH ending, explained

No branching endings were verified in the reviewed sources. The documented finish is a results screen that says YOU ESCAPED, shows your time, and pays Coins. Claims of “all endings” are not backed by a second outcome.

Checked 2026-10-25. Facts below cite the sources at the end of this page.

What the screen actually lists

Jessy’s 20 October Normal clear: YOU ESCAPED, NORMAL, 42:36, NEW BEST TIME, Rooms cleared +200, Escape +100, Rescues +10, total +310, then PLAY AGAIN or RETURN TO LOBBY. FusionZGamer’s later run also ends at YOU ESCAPED with no branch. Easy pays half coins, according to the cash notes that match the reward table. Treat every coin figure as an example from that clear, not a guaranteed payout.

How you get there

Finish the Poolrooms route on the map: early platforms, both valves, rising water, then the five newer rooms. Locked Exit asks for four photographed pillar numbers and a code at the door. That code is a door puzzle inside the run. It is not a promotional code and it is not an alternate ending. After the corridor, the results screen is the finish.

Beating Normal twice is how the locked difficulty opens (BEAT NORMAL 0/2). That is an unlock on the party screen, not a different ending cinematic.

What is not verified

No secret ending, no “bad ending,” no per-character ending, and no second clear condition showed up in the four videos or the official description. If slo7th adds one, it belongs on the update log with a timestamp. Until then, additional ending names remain unverified.

Research note. The reviewed Jessy and FusionZGamer runs finish on YOU ESCAPED. No alternate outcome was verified in those videos or the official description. This is a statement about the reviewed evidence, not an exhaustive ending count.
